Western Georgia Group Trip - September 2023

I, Amreen, am hosting a group trip to Georgia this September 2023. The exact dates of the trip are September 2-8 and we will be covering the western region of Georgia. The trip is for 6 nights and 7 days, however, feel free to arrive early and leave a few days later. This trip to Georgia offers a breathtaking experience of nature's beauty. The  landscapes are diverse, ranging from the snow-capped Caucasus Mountains to the lush green valleys. Waterfalls cascade down rocky cliffs while canyons with steep walls and narrow gorges offer adventurous hiking trails. The region is also rich in history, with ancient monasteries and fortresses dotted throughout the landscape. And that’s before we’ve even arrived at Batumi, a city on the Black Seacoast of Georgia that boasts a unique mix of old-world charm and modern amenities.

Day 1: Welcome to Georgia! Explore Martvili Canyon's stunning beauty - emerald-green waters flowing through lush greenery and cliffs. Check in to Kutaisi accommodations.

Day 2: Uplistsikhe Cave Town & Mtskheta tour - delve into ancient history and architecture. Visit Jvari Monastery & Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Check in to Tbilisi accommodations.

Day 3: Tbilisi City Tour - Metekhi Church, Rike Park, Narikala Fortress, Leghvtakhevi Waterfall. Discover Tbilisi's charm & culture. Another night in Tbilisi.

Day 4: Batumi Botanical Gardens - explore diverse flora, Black Sea views. Evening of games in Batumi hotel.

Day 5: Batumi City Tour - Europe Square, Alphabetic Tower, Batumi Boulevard, and more. Beach relaxation and sunset views.

Day 6: Gonio Fortress - Roman history, Makhuntseti Waterfall - picturesque natural wonder. Stay at Eco Merisi hotel for mountain views and group time.

Day 7: Departure - Bid farewell to Georgia with cherished memories as you head to Kutaisi Airport. An inspiring September trip!
